Alpha of Christ Ministries is a connect group spread throughout the state of Connecticut to broker faith and community. Leah gave birth to Levi and from his lineage we have the temple guards, worshipers, and caretakers in charge of maintaining the temple. The city of Corinth, Greece received a letter from Paul stating, "Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own" (6:19) AOC Ministries empowers new believers, while challenging seasoned believers to embrace the caretaking, the guarding, and the glory of the temple of those within Christ.
The Chi Rho (☧)
This Christian symbol that became prevalent in the 3rd century under Emperor Flavius Valerius Constantinus known as Constantine. The symbol combines two overlapping Greek letters X (chi) and P (Rho) the first two letters for the word "Christos" Christ. The Chi Rho above is accompanied by the Greek first and last Greek letters (A) Alpha and (Ω) Omega, surrounded by a laurel wreath which symbolizes victory. According to early Christian historian Eusebius, Constantine was revealed this symbol as a prophetic sign that he would be victorious in the battle of the Milvian Bridge in 312AD.
In the same manner we want to take hold of what has been revealed to us through Jesus Christ, to embrace that we are more than conquerors together in Christ, set out to conquest over our city. Constantine marked his soldiers with this symbol as they went to war, but we serve the LORD who marked us with the Holy Spirit of God. A royal seal that says you belong to the body of Christ, the victorious One. You have passed from death to life, and have been set apart as Gods holy possession. You are an Ambassador of the kingdom of God, now it's time to war against the forces that set themselves against the truth of God.
